Gihee Hong is a South Korean Actor. She attended Kyung Hee University's School of Theatre where she graduated with a BFA in Acting and BA in Japanese, minor in Journalism and Broadcasting.

She then moved to New York City to continue pursuing her acting where she first started acting in English at HB Studio New York and Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She sought out further training at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where she received her MFA in Acting. During her time at Rutgers, Gihee spent a year abroad studying Acting and Shakespeare at Shakespeare's Globe Theater in London and had a summer program at Berlin, Germany.  

Now based in LA, Gihee is focusing on developing her own work to tell stories that are more than that is portrayed in mainstream culture. She embraces her experiences in East and West, classical and contemporary theater and also TV and film. She hopes her artistry dedicates to better the society through the art of empathy and love.
